I am an assistant professor of management and entrepreneurship at UConn.
I study collaborations and knowledge spillovers to examine the role of geographic proximity and chance social interactions on innovation and entrepreneurship.
I earned my PhD at the University of Minnesota in the Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship department of the Carlson School of Management. I was a postdoc at UCLA after that.
Before becoming an academic researcher I was a biomedical engineer, inventor, and entrepreneur.
